goodbye1After much deliberation, Tina Moreau has submitted her resignation as the Operations Manager of Absolute XPress. For the last year she has been a tremendous champion of our authors and AXP, and is leaving some big shoes to fill. Please join us in saying farewell.

It’s been an exciting and memorable year with Absolute XPress, and I wanted to take this opportunity to bid you all adieu and let you know that my last day is Friday, August 14. A lot has been accomplished in just a year and I am truly proud of the time and effort contributed to see what AXP could and has become. I have met some fabulous people (authors, readers, and everyone in between) and even though I will miss you all I am looking forward to the new challenges I will face as I start a new phase of my career.

Unfortunately, AXP has not found someone to replace me at this time. This means that the projects we have scheduled/contracted for 2010 will still be completed, however until a new manager is found next years projects are on hold until further notice. AXP will also be closed to submissions, and this includes the Flash Fiction Challenge.

If you are interested in applying for the Operations Manager position, stay tuned to this blog for a job posting from AXP’s owner, Brian Hades, in the coming days.

I wish everyone the best of luck on their journeys, and please keep writing and reading.

Cheers,

Tina Moreau
